a) the random musings of an over worked, tired, bored, lazy individual. someone who has different layers of personalities. a complicated, mildly insane, fun-loving daydreamer; b) nonsense rants of a searching, confused soul who prefers reading than writing and speaking in public. a person that has lots of ability to be frank and direct but stays quiet most of the time.

i'm gonna break your heart, you better run and hide
In a normal person, the heart beats 70 times a minute. That's 100,800 times a day, 40 million times a year! During a single day, a ventricle pumps about 11,000 quarts or 265 million quarts a lifetime.
What's the relevance? Ang sipag ng heart, sobra!
Pero tatanga-tanga naman. Hay.

unfeeling apathy
because i don't want to
i can't feel
because i don't want to
i won't talk
because i don't have to
i won't listen
because i don't have to
i won't move
because i don't have to
i won't look
because i don't have to
When it stops to hurt, then it shall have become so insignificant. It shall matter no longer.
Should I then wish for the hurting to continue? I think not.
You come to a point when you can change no more. You have to stop lest you lose yourself completely in the process. You would not want to lose your identity, would you?
Somewhere along the way, all this nonsense must be turned away. You can only believe so much of what you are led to believe. Then the truth will have to surface. It has to, eventually, anyway.
My hands are beginning to numb. My heart has tempered its beating. My tears have almost run out.
Hanging kelan kaya ganito? Pano pag darating na ang araw na ayaw na sa iyo ng isang tao, ipagpipilitan mo pa ba ang sarili mo sa kanya?

deep in thought
i never had the chance to tell my parents about that fear. i just made sure they wouldn't hear me. the crying spells went on for a few weeks...i just tried to assure myself, "it's gonna be okay. they will always be there to watch over you until you're ready to be on your own." one night, i just stopped crying. i guess it was at that point that i actually started to look forward to one day becoming an adult, willing and able to take care of myself.
here, now...i am actually supposed to be one...an adult who's self-sufficient. besides, i'm now entitled to take care of my own affairs, enjoy my independence and complete free will. i am to relish everything that comes with this label...supposedly. somehow, i find myself wishing i could go back to that time when i would snuggle beside my parents when i got scared or sad. sometimes, when i get tired of being an adult, i wish really hard that even for just a second i could be that helpless kid again...crying out of fear and neediness. at least, as a kid i allowed myself to cling with all my might to my parents' protective love. now, i just use all my might to try and let go of all my weakness. problem is, i just don't have that strength to be strong enough on my own.
maybe it's time to realize that even an adult needs to get weak every now and then...that "on my own" need not be the goal. maybe the pretention makes me weaker now than when i used to cry like a baby. maybe strength and independence do not necessarily have to be mutually exclusive.
maybe it's about time i let somebody hear me crying...

pain
if you have to make a choice, may you make it now. then i will either wait for you or forget you.
waiting is painful, forgetting is painful.
but not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering.
if i'd die tonight, i'd die happy
my lips sing with lyrics and metaphors of feelings so big and ready to burst. i see memories flying with the leaves, conniving with the wind to take them farther than my imagination could ever fathom. they will be preserved there, and i, too. where the world is as it is.. wonderful.
bestfriend, thank you. for teaching me how to live with pain and jealousy and not fix it or fade with it, to live with joy and happiness and not be ashamed to celebrate it. thank you because i love the world, my world, especially because you are in it.
i look forward to exploring the world with you :p Palawan tayo?

nobody loves you like i do
I must admit that I envy her for she's very much a part of you that you can't remove, like a chamber in your heart. Take it away and you’ll die. Besides, eight long years is like a time without end.
But then, your happiness is all. As well as your peace of mind.
And I am only me.
I will have you always till forever and never. I will always love you and not at all. I miss my bestfriend.
cool off
ayoko na munang makita ka..
ayoko na munang makasama ka..
gusto ko sanang mapag-isa..‘
di na yata tayo masaya..
di na yata kakayanin pa..
gusto ko munang mapag-isa..
siguro’y ito na nga..
intindihin mo na..
kailangan lang natin ng pahinga..
palayain ang isa’t isa..
kung tayo, tayo talaga..
palayain ang isa’t isa..
kung tayo, tayo talaga..
ayoko na munang lapitan ka..
ayoko na munang makausap ka..
gusto ko sanang mapag-isa..
di na tayo magkasundo..
sumisikip na ang ating mundo..
time out muna tayo..
siguro’y ito na nga..
intindihin mo na..
kailangan lang natin ng pahinga..
palayain ang isa’t isa..
kung tayo, tayo talaga..
palayain ang isa’t isa..
kung tayo, tayo talaga..

flippy me
but really, it occurs to me that I am (sort of) scatterbrained. i forget/lose things, laugh at inappropriate moments, get simple things mixed up, and get puzzled by basic modern living concepts like directions, routes, schedules, etc. before, i hated being thought of as overly serious and deliberately rebelled against it. now i have subconsciously modified that and turned into this clumsy, ditzy, flighty person.
i wonder what it feels like to be well put together, inside and out.
now that i think about it, the last time that i was like that was way back in grade school, when my mother was still in full charge of me. those days, i ate breakfast everyday, had all my school things in my bag, neatly tucked in my shirt, never overspent my allowance, and was an above average student besides. those, i now realize, were my glory days. to go back to that now would require superhuman effort, and i would be further hampered by all the insecurities i’ve picked up along the way.

lovesick
How did you know
I remember so well
The day that you came into my life
You asked for my name
You had the most beautiful smile
My life started to change
I'd wake up each day feeling alright
With you right by my side
Makes me feel things will work out just fine
Chorus
How did you know
I needed someone like you in my life
That there's an empty space in my heart
You came at the right time in my life
I'll never forget
How you brought the sun to shine in my life
And took all the worries and fears that I had
I guess what I'm really trying to say
It's not everyday that someone like you comes my way
No words can express how much I love you
Repeat Chorus
I love this song because unlike most love songs that cater more to an acknowledgment of the carnal and the quickening nether regions or even the politics of emotional blackmail, this song is about being grateful. Where else do we get a song that is about gratefulness, about thanking one's significant other about "filling up that empty space in our hearts"? I like its primal honesty, about how it shows all of us that true love is really about completion. It's not about sex, it's not about having the proper trophy to hang around with, it's not about answering our baser instincts: it's about the magic that glimmers in the truest coming together.
And we have that, babe. And so, from the deepest part of my heart, I would like to say thank you for everything. I will surely miss you.

commitment
love means to commit oneself without guarantee, to give oneself completely in the hope that our love will produce love in the loved person. my love for you is an act of faith and i have big faith in us.
loving you have given me strength and courage. and without it i will be forever lost.
i love you and you will always be a special part of me, no matter what. best friends forever?

in a bind
i feel that i am in some sort of a bind, an overwhelming attachment to someone. i am at lost for words on how to describe my current state. if i am to over analyze it i will only take away the magic and mystery. let me just subscribe to the maxim that the best feelings are those that have no words to describe them =)
i have been making a lot of choices and decisions according to what my heart truly feels. and it feels great; it feels great to be this happy. i haven't felt like this before and it is making me ecstatically crazy.
a lot of things have changed in me since the day i have learned to love you babe. words are not enough to describe how you make me happy each time i’m with you. your simple touch, your affectionate hug and your warm kiss changed me that i no longer know my self. there are times in between that i got scared, uncertain, hesitant and full of doubts because of these strange, unfamiliar emotions. but i only have to believe and trust your love and i am whole again.
a part of you has grown in me. take that away and i will never be whole again. i love you without fear, i trust you without questioning, i need you without demanding, i want you without restrictions, i accept you without expecting any change, i desire you without inhibitions… I love you babe, I really do.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself
But if your love and must needs have desires,
Let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook
That sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart
And give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer
For the beloved in your heart
And a song of praise upon your lips.

accidentally in love
So he said what's the problem baby
What's the problem I don't know
Well maybe I'm in love (love)
Think about it every time
I think about it
Can't stop thinking 'bout it
How much longer will it take to cure this
Just to cure it cause I can't ignore it if it's love (love)
Makes me wanna turn around and face me but I don't know nothing 'bout love
Come on, come on
Turn a little faster
Come on, come on
The world will follow after
Come on, come on
Cause everybody's after love
So I said I'm a snowball running
Running down into the spring that's coming all this love
Melting under blue skies
Belting out sunlight
Shimmering love
Well baby I surrender
To the strawberry ice cream
Never ever end of all this love
Well I didn't mean to do it
But there's no escaping your love
These lines of lightning
Mean we're never alone,
Never alone, no, no
Come on, Come on
Move a little closer
Come on, Come on
I want to hear you whisper
Come on, Come on
Settle down inside my love
We're accidentally in love
Accidentally in love
Accidentally
I'm In Love, I'm in Love,
I'm in Love, I'm in Love,
I'm in Love, I'm in Love,
Accidentally
Come on, come on
Spin a little tighter
Come on, come on
And the world's a little brighter
Come on, come on
Just get yourself inside her
Love ...I'm in love

on solid ground
there's always something to rant about. to be afraid of. to be furious at. to despair over.
even in silence, a constant barrage of voices --- both welcome and otherwise --- is always in motion.
for this reason, every individual on this planet --- every single one of us --- is constantly in search of something to hold on to. something to keep us balanced, grounded, in equilibrium. not stagnant, but always pointed to the right direction.
for some of us, it takes a lifetime to find such thing. such person.
thankfully, i have mine right now.
sa baby kong adik, salamat sa pagiging bahagi ng buhay ko. binigyan mo ng kahulugan ang buhay ko.

fallen
For you babe.
You kissed my lips and I felt a flutter in my heart,
You touched my hand and lit a spark in my body,
You stared into my eyes and saw straight into my soul,
You put your arms around me and I was finally complete.
yes, i have fallen in love. it happened so fast i didn’t see it coming it caught me unawares. despite all the uncertainties i surrendered completely to the state of being inlove. i didn’t hold back. after all, there's only one life to live, eh?
babe, you have touched me, you have changed me. and i will never be the same again. you taught me beautiful things i never thought i am capable of and if only for that, i am forever in your debt.

it might be you
Time, I've been passing time
Watching trains go by
All of my life
Lying on the sand
Watching seabirds fly
Wishing there could be someone
Waiting home for me
Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you
All of my life...
Looking back as lovers go walking past
All of my life
Wondering how they met and what makes it last
If I found the place would I recognize the face
Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you
So many quiet walks to take
So many dreams to wake
And there's so much love to make
I think we’re gonna need some time
Maybe all we need is time
And it's telling me it might be you
All of my life
I've been saving love songs and lullabies
And there's so much more
No one's ever heard before
Something's telling me it might be you
Yeah, it's telling me it must be you and
I'm feeling it'll just be you
All of my life
It's you, it's you
I've been waiting for all of my life
Maybe it's you
Maybe it's you
I've been waiting for all of my life

the drama of relief
when i couldn't contain my emotions anymore, i write and i cry. these two past times are the only ways i know to help me ease whatever my heart couldn't bear. i may not be good at writing, but it calms me big time. I may become an OA, silly lunatic when I cry but it gives me great relief.
and so, i wrote and i cried…
crying is a lavishness in my otherwise happy and contented life. i've always thought that i love crying because after the drama comes immense relief and liberation from all my baggage. yeah, mahilig talaga ako sa drama that i have always wondered how long my heart can take the drama queen in me.
my theory once again never failed me when i cried the other night. i cried because i badly want to find relief. and indeed, i had relief. i was still confused after the whole drama thing but i became calm and enlightened. a good cry over our melancholy is always pleasurable. and even if it's almost silly, i wish that people cried more over the best things in life and not always for those that break our hearts.

playing with fire
When I first realize I have this thing for you, first comes wonder: that I am actually able to like a person this much. How? Why? And so, as I sit at the back of the cab, lost in my smile and my reverie, the whole world becomes a bursting experience of color and sound, and I heave a dramatic sigh and acknowledge the sudden fullness of being that only falling in love can bring. What did I get myself into? I am confused and at a lost for wisdom. I can not give you up and I am not yet ready to do the right thing. If selfishness is only to think of your own happiness and overlook the sorrow of other people, then I am indeed without a doubt selfish.
I had a beautiful, wonderful Labor Day celebration yesterday because I was with you.
Thank you because you made me incredibly happy,
Thank you for all the fun and laughter,
Thank you for making me feel I am special,
Thank you for the time spent with me,
Thank you for being honest with me,
And thank you for your beautiful gift of friendship.
For the meantime, come what may. For I believe that you do not loose by loving, you only loose by holding back. And so I won’t deny. But we need time to assess everything that had happened so fast. For all we know this thing between us is just a fleeting emotion brought by each others loneliness.
PS:
How does one play with fire and got away without being burnt? Help, please.
